Being a dad has never been so cool.  I have two amazing kids that love their daddy.  When I pull into the garage after a hard days work before I can even get my car door open Maddy is right there to jump into my arms.  Then I can be sure that Logan is standing in the doorway screaming at the top of his lungs to put down his sister and pick him up.  What ends up happening is me bending over and picking both of them up.  This tends to wreak havok on my back but oh well.  I can complain about my back pain when I'm 60 right?  I have a bunch of pictures and video footage that I have to process so that everyone can see what's going on.  We have just hit our year mark for being in California.  I can honestly say it's been the best year of my life.  I can't help but feel a little sorrow for my family all the way up in Montana.  Quite honestly the only thing I do miss from Montana is my family.  My wife is VERY happy which of course translates into direct happiness for me.  Maddy gets to attend Ballet classes twice a week and also gymnastics classes twice.  Logan is just sitting back enjoying being a one year old.  He has an outlook on life that most of us wish we could have every day of our life.  Let's just hope that he can keep it that way.  Jeanette has been able to attend the gym and do some die hard dieting that has merited her some pretty substantial weight loss.  She had a goal to drop that baby weight.  She's a trooper because those kids take a toll on the mommies body.  She's amazing though.  My job is going very well.  There have been some moments where I have cost the company a few K but hey that's what keeps things interesting right.  Overall it's been a very good experience and is proving to be key to build up my career path.  Right now we are undetermined on what to do.  At this point we really can't buy a house because the average house price is around 900K so we are looking to find a cheaper rental so we can start the long road to saving.  Many may wonder how we could stand such high cost of living but there is a reason it costs so much to live here.  Because it's an amazing place to live.  If it wasn't that expensive it would be completely overrun and wouldn't be a very nice place to live anymore.  So with that being said we will continue to plug away at savings in hope that we can soon get into something that will suit our needs.  One thing that is becoming very apparent is that most families have to have both the mom and dad working in order to swing it.  We however will keep trying at it with just one of us because of how strongly we both feel about rearing our kids with the mom there 24/7.  So far it's paying off.  We'll I'd better get to bed.  I promise there will be some pics to come.
