Okay, so I see that my hubby put a blog up yesterday and I felt I needed to at least defend myself. (see previous post) Although he is hilarious and probably pictured me asleep on the couch with the kids running around like wild Indians, that is not quite how it went down.I woke up one morning with a bad migraine last week(probably from the lack of sleep lately) and decided to take a hot bath to see if that helped at all. I was only in the tub like 10 minutes.(Seriously) Anyhow Logan had come in the bathroom to show me his cars and told me he spilled some peaches. I was hoping he spilled them at the table but no such luck. I got out of the tub a minute or two later and went into the kitchen to find Logan with both hands in the power sugar, happily smearing it across his face and spreading it on the floor with some help of his trusty flashlight. Next to that of course was the spilled sticky peaches and what mess would be complete without his cars getting in on the action too. I was trying hard not to laugh and act like this was a great choice of activities. Even when naughty though he is very adorable. So that is the real story. I would've loved to have been taking a nap or sitting and eating bon bon's and watching Oprah. (Just like all moms have that kind of spare time right?) No such luck. I am starting to seeing a little mischievous pattern with our little man. The week before this he grabbed a stick of butter off the counter and stepped in it. When I came into the kitchen he took off running across the carpet with butter on his shoes. Good thing his mom was fast enough to catch him after only a few steps. And another one of my personal favorites was just a few weeks ago as well. Logan was in bed for the night and was calling out that he wanted to pee and poop in the potty. Although he probably would have, I was too exhausted. Amazing how quickly they learn what will buy them 5 minutes isn't it? So for the next several minutes he continued that same protest until after maybe 10 minutes or so he was asleep. I went into check on him and found that he had taken off his pants and diaper. Thanks for letting us know you meant it Logan. Thankfully the bedding was dry. Such a character. I told Dean if Logan wasn't so darn sweet and had such an easy going and likeable personality I would want to strangle him. Thankfully his naughtiness is just funny and harmless for now. If..... or I should say when he hits that hyperactive & crazy little boy stage... that is when I am sure I will be ready to pull my hair out and it won't be so funny. Just enjoying this while it lasts. Just a few of the mischievous sides of this little one......and some with a little help from his big sis....Like hurry and pretend you are asleep, or let me dress you up in this boy headband.

Just a quick Happy Valentines Day to all. Hope everyone had a wonderful day and let all the important people in their lives know that they love them. I am sure this is a somewhat cheezy holiday but I love it! Now I can finish off the day with some ice cream and Lost. Here is a few pictures of Maddy's class Valentine's party and the kids first real trip to the bowling alley. Maddy was actually really good and Logan was of course his usual humorous self. Thankfully he only ran down the bowling lane once. The middle picture I took last week when I was cleaning and came into the living room to find maddy so tired she had just passed out in the middle of the floor like that. What I would give for a nap like that.
